Nisha Chandran

Nisha Chandran currently serves as an Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorneys' Offices since July 2021. Nisha has been an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP since December 2017, with prior experience as a Law Clerk at the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and as a PILI Fellow at the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law. Nisha's legal career includes roles as a Summer Associate at Sidley Austin LLP and Alston & Bird LLP. Before entering the legal field, Nisha worked in crisis and issues management at Edelman in various capacities from 2009 to 2012, and as a Research Assistant at the Kellogg School of Management. Nisha holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication Studies from Northwestern University.
