Horst Brand

Horst Brand has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology and telecommunications industry. Horst is currently the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at SHS Viveon, where they focus on digitalizing risk, credit, and compliance management processes. Prior to this, Brand worked at Rohde & Schwarz as a BoD Member a4ESSOR and as the Global VP and Market Unit Head for Secure Communication Solutions, where they were responsible for P&L, sales, engineering, product management, and delivery. Horst also served as the GM EMEA of the Software Solutions Business Growth at Optiva Inc. and as the Global Head of Software Business for Turnaround & Transformation at Nokia Siemens Networks. Brand has held various positions at Siemens Mobile Networks, including Country Manager China, VP of System and Services Sales Growth, and Head of Strategic Portfolio Management. Horst also worked at Siemens Shanghai Mobile Communications, where they were the Head of Industrial Operations and led regional supply chain and service management transformation. Brand began their career as an R&D Engineer in Industry Automation at Bosch Rexroth.

Horst Brand's education history shows a consistent focus on professional development and executive training. In 1985 to 1987, they attended Fachhochschule Dieburg, where they earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Communications Engineering. Following this, in 2002 to 2003, Horst Brand participated in the Siemens High Potential Leadership and Advanced Management Program at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. In 2010, they attended the Fuqua School of Business once again, this time for the High Potential Executive Leadership Training program. Lastly, in 2012 to 2013, Horst Brand pursued integrated management system studies at the University St. Gallen & Malik Management, without attaining a specific degree.
