Amanda Barns

Amanda Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Amanda started their career at USA Jet as a Flight Attendant, ensuring passenger safety and comfort. Amanda then worked at TPS Logistics as an Accounts Payable clerk, handling accounting duties and developing more efficient processing strategies.

Amanda then moved on to CNH America as a Buyer, managing a significant annual spend and building relationships with vendors and manufacturing locations. Amanda also aligned strategies with European colleagues and monitored resin prices for sourcing decisions.

After four years at CNH America, Amanda joined Vestas as a Strategic Purchaser, responsible for strategic purchasing processes. Amanda later joined CNH as a Senior Buyer, overseeing procurement activities.

Amanda then worked briefly at The Kraft Heinz Company as a Senior Buyer before joining ALIVE Rescue as a Volunteer/Foster. Most recently, they are employed at Shure Incorporated, first as a Senior Buyer and now as a Specialist Lead in New Product Sourcing. In their current role, they establish supply chains for new product teams, implements sourcing strategies, and negotiates with suppliers to meet target costs. Throughout their career, Amanda has consistently demonstrated their expertise in procurement and sourcing.

Amanda Barns attended Central Michigan University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Art degree with a focus on Communication, General.
