Kara Marcotte

Kara Marcotte is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with extensive experience in technical recruiting and university recruitment. Currently serving as the Manager of Talent Acquisition for Tech & Product at Shutterfly since January 2014, Kara has progressed through various roles, including Senior Talent Acquisition Partner and Technical Recruiter, focusing on sourcing candidates across engineering, data science, and technical marketing teams. Previously, Kara held the position of Talent Acquisition Programs Manager at Rovi Corporation (now TiVo), and worked as a recruiter for HCA and Kitchell Corporation. Early career experience includes roles at Google and Progressive Insurance. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Central Missouri and is a Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR).
