Ijeoma Anunibe, PHRi, SHRM-SCP, ACIPM

Ijeoma Anunibe, PHRi, SHRM-SCP, ACIPM, has a diverse range of work experience in the field of HR. Ijeoma is currently the Head of People at Shuttlers, where they began in March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of HR & Admin at AgroMall Discovery and Extension Limited from September 2020 to February 2022.

Before joining AgroMall, Ijeoma worked at Tenaris as the Talent Development Regional Leader for Sub Saharan Africa from February 2020 to June 2020. In this role, they coordinated talent review and succession planning processes and managed the performance management process.

From June 2017 to February 2020, Ijeoma was an HR Business Partner - Commercial, West Africa, at RB (formerly Reckitt Benckiser). Their responsibilities included providing support and coaching to managers, identifying and implementing training programs, and overseeing the performance management and talent review processes.

Prior to their time at RB, Ijeoma worked at Access Bank Plc as an HR Business Partner from January 2016 to June 2017. Ijeoma also held roles as a Project Team Lead for Performance Management and a Culture and Internal Communications Officer at Access Bank. Their responsibilities included talent management, conducting surveys, and designing the bank's career site.

Ijeoma's earlier work experience includes an HR internship at Etiosa 3 Local Government in 2012 and a Front Desk/Customer Care Officer role at the INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING CENTER from August 2012 to January 2013.

Throughout their career, Ijeoma has demonstrated a strong focus on talent management, performance management, and employee development. Ijeoma holds certifications in Professional in Human Resources International (PHRi), Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Associate Certified International Project Manager (ACIPM).

Ijeoma Anunibe, PHRi, SHRM-SCP, ACIPM, holds a Master's degree in Economics, which they obtained from the University of Lagos between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics from Imo State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Ijeoma has pursued various certifications and professional development programs. Most recently, in September 2022, they completed a Mini-MBA program at the Tekedia Institute. In August 2021, they became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) through the official LinkedIn account of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria. Ijeoma has also acquired several certifications through LinkedIn, including Human Resources: Pay Strategy in June 2021, Employment Laws, Regulations, and Legal Practices (Covid-19 Implications) in August 2020, Creating a Culture of Learning in July 2020, People Analytics in July 2020, Train the Trainer in July 2020, Interviewing a Job Candidate for Recruiters in June 2020, and Employer Branding to Attract Talent in May 2019.

Furthermore, Ijeoma holds certifications from other institutions. In November 2015, they obtained the Certified PDA Analyst and MyPDA Coach Analyst certifications from PDA International Inc. Ijeoma also received the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification and the Professional in Human Resources – International (PHRi) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2021 and September 2019 respectively. Additionally, Ijeoma acquired another Professional in Human Resources – International (PHRi) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in September 2015.
