Sydney Lepora

Sydney Lepora has a diverse work experience in corporate communications and marketing. Sydney is currently working as the Director of Corporate Communications at The Shyft Group, where they are responsible for developing and executing communication strategies. Prior to this, Sydney worked as the Corporate Communications Manager at the same company.

Sydney has also worked as the Director of Client Experience at Current Global, where they managed corporate accounts and provided strategic media relations counsel. Sydney has experience in event communication management from their role as a Special Events Communication Manager at Hilton.

In addition, Sydney has worked in organizational change management at Ford Motor Company, where they served as a Global Senior Project Manager. Sydney also has experience in communications and government relations as the Region Communications Manager at Valeo North America.

Before transitioning into corporate communications, Sydney gained experience in public speaking and presenting as a Speech and Forensics Coach. Sydney also worked as an On Air Host at Shelby Television.

Sydney started their career as a Public Relations Intern at Gelia, where they refined their skills in presentation preparation, research, and industry protocols.

Sydney Lepora, DES, obtained a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations and Theatre from Wayne State University from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their high school education and obtained a High School Diploma from Eisenhower High School from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Digital Engagement Strategy from PCMA in April 2021.
