Sylvia van Alphen

Sylvia van Alphen is a highly experienced professional with a career spanning over 15 years. Sylvia began their career as a Senior Account Manager at Michael Bailey Associates in 2005, where they were the best fee earner of the Amsterdam office in 2006, 2007, and 2008. In 2009, they moved to Zorg en Zekerheid as a Senior Accountmanager Groot-Zakelijke markt, responsible for (new) business development and account management at corporate accounts. In 2010, they joined Michael Page The Netherlands as a Manager IT, focusing on permanent and interim recruitment, and was promoted to manager of the tech recruitment team in 2011. Sylvia van Alphen has a well-rounded education background. Sylvia began their studies in 1997 with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag, with a focus in European studies. In 2001, they completed their Master of Business Administration - MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam, with a focus in Marketing. From 2012 to 2013, Sylvia attended Plata Foundation, where they earned a Practitioner NLP/Transactionele Analyse/Systemisch Werk. Sylvia then went on to complete an Executive MBA from Nyenrode Business University in 2020, with a focus in Digital Strategy & Transformation. In 2022, Sylvia is expected to complete an Executive MBA from Scaleupnation, with a focus in Business/Managerial Economics.
