Sergio D. Martins

Sergio D. Martins has extensive work experience in the IT field. Sergio D. is currently the Director of IT Governance, Master Data & Analytics at SI Group, a role they started in November 2020. Before that, they worked at DuPont, where they held the position of Director of IT from April 2019 to May 2020. In this role, they had global accountability for relationship management, budgeting, program management, and production support, overseeing applications under Human Resources and Integrated Health Services portfolios.

Prior to their time at DuPont, they worked at The Dow Chemical Company. From 2015 to 2019, they were an Enterprise Architect, responsible for designing and implementing solutions for the Dow DuPont $130B mega-merger. Sergio D. also led the migration of HR on-premise applications to the cloud, among other responsibilities.

From 2012 to 2014, they were a Business Process Architect, deploying Oracle OBIEE for reporting and analytics capability and leading the implementation of SAP solutions for several departments. During this time, they held various roles including IT Administration, Education Systems Manager, and LATAM Manager. In these positions, they implemented several SAP modules, delivered significant cost savings through self-service reporting and executive dashboards, and led the implementation of HCM self-service for managers and employees.

Sergio D. Martins holds a Master's degree in Executive MBA from Villanova University, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Sergio D. also has a Master of Science - MS in Business Administration and Management, General from Universidade Paulista. Additionally, Sergio has obtained the TOGAF 9 certification from The Open Group, the TOGAF Certification Authority in 2015.
