Karin Tynelius is an accomplished professional in the mining and materials engineering sectors with extensive experience in stakeholder relations, sustainability, and governance. Currently serving as VP of Stakeholder Relations, Sustainability and Communication for Europe at Sibanye-Stillwater since September 2023 and as a Board Member for the Sibanye-Stillwater Foundation since October 2024, Tynelius also holds positions as a Councillor with MinSouth, an Ambassador for Achilles Information Ltd, and an Advisory Board Member at Drexel University's College of Engineering, among others. Tynelius is the President of Mineral Markets, providing consulting on governance and market intelligence, and has served as a Board Member for Keliber Oy, chairing the ESG Committee.
