Ale Alfaro

Ale Alfaro has a strong background in engineering and renewable energy, with experience in software development, firmware engineering, and mechatronics engineering. They currently work as a Haptics Software Engineer at Apple and previously worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Sibel Health. Ale also has experience as a Mechatronics Engineering Intern at Tesla and a Firmware Engineer Intern at MATRIX Industries, where they developed test plans, created Python scripts for testing, and developed features for a GUI designer software tool. They gained experience in renewable energy as a Renewable Energy Intern at EcoSwell, where they conducted feasibility studies and designed sustainable power systems. Ale also co-founded and served as the Marketing Head at Care Package LLC, a start-up at Northwestern University, and held the position of Social Chair at Northwestern's Global Brigades chapter. They also interned at LaGeo, where they provided tours of a geothermal plant and documented its operation in English.

Ale Alfaro attended Northwestern University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In April 2014, Ale also obtained a certification in Goethe-Zertifikat B1 from the Goethe-Institut e.V.
