Ha Uk Chung

VP, R&D at Sibel Health

Ha Uk Chung is the current Vice President of Research and Development at Sibel Health. Ha has also served as the Co-Founder, Principal Hardware Engineer, and Director of R&D at the company. Prior to their work at Sibel Health, Chung was an Electronics Design Advisor at Northwestern University and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In their role as an Electronics Design Advisor, Chung was responsible for teaching students taking introductory computer engineering courses. Ha's topics of instruction included boolean algebra, combination network analysis and design, sequential network analysis and design, and computer organization and machine-level programming. As a Graduate Research Assistant, Chung worked on projects involving the fabrication and characterization of CNTFET devices for metallic nanotube removal and the characterization of thermocapillary flow effects using various materials. Ha also worked on the fabrication and characterization of transient electronics devices using IGZO.

Ha Uk Chung received a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northwestern University in 2019, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013.
