Gustavo Aldaya

Gustavo Aldaya is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data management and architecture across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Head of Data at SICPA since December 2022, Gustavo successfully deployed an Azure Data Platform stack, establishing a single point of truth and creating a dedicated data team. Prior roles include Project Manager and Data Architect at Hiberus, where Gustavo led cloud data stack deployments for SICPA; Head of Big Data at Invertironline.com, designing solutions in Microsoft Azure; and Big Data Manager at Garbarino, where Gustavo implemented a self-service BI environment. Additional experience includes impactful IT leadership roles at Garbarino S.A., LatynTrade, Samsung Electronics, Tyco Fire & Security, VITTAL, and Omega Seguros. Gustavo holds a Diploma in Business Intelligence from Universidad Austral an engineering degree in Information Systems from Universidad Abierta Interamericana, and a Systems Analyst qualification from Instituto O.R.T.
