Doug Wear

Doug Wear, PMP, has extensive work experience in engineering and project management. Doug has held various leadership roles in different companies, with a focus on the packaging industry.

Starting in 1998, Doug worked at Siemens, where they held positions as a Senior Applications Engineer, Project Manager, and Program Manager. In these roles, they managed multi-year automotive manufacturing programs, led teams of engineers and coordinators, and successfully completed projects worth millions in annual revenues.

In 2009, Doug joined The Haskell Company as an Engineering Manager and later became a Senior Integration Manager and Senior Engineering Manager. Doug'sresponsibilities included managing systems integration and providing technical leadership to project engineers for clients in the food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, and beer, wine, and spirits markets.

From 2021 to 2023, Doug worked at Pearson Packaging Systems as the Director of Applications Engineering. Doug oversaw the sales lifecycle and contracting of custom packaging automation solutions for clients like Tyson Foods, Coca Cola, and Smithfield. Doug also led a team of Applications Engineers, estimators, and a Technical Specifications Specialist.

Currently, Doug holds the position of Director of Engineering and Project Management at Sidel, where they started in 2023.

Throughout their career, Doug has consistently demonstrated their ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and achieve substantial revenue growth. Doug is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and possesses a strong technical and engineering background.
