April Trejo

April Rooney, MPA, is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in management and employee training. Currently serving as Human Resources Manager at Sidley Austin LLP since October 2022, April previously held the position of HR/Recruiting Manager at Quinn Emanuel from November 2017 to October 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Director at St. Mary's University, where April developed training workshops, improved onboarding processes, and maintained employee records. April also worked as a Survey Administrator for the City of Live Oak, focusing on employee satisfaction research and analysis. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from St. Mary's University and a degree in Public Policy Analysis from American University, obtained in 2018.
