Michal Owanek

Michal Owanek has extensive experience in marine engineering, currently serving as a 2nd Engineer at Siem Offshore since August 2016, with a focus on DP2 DSV and MPSV vessels. Prior experience includes multiple roles as a 3rd Engineer at Bourbon Offshore Greenmar, where Michal worked on various DP vessels, and positions at Atlantic Marine Services BV as a Mechanic / 3rd Engineer, and at ER Offshore AS and Teekay Corporation as a 3rd Engineer and Motorman, respectively. Michal began the career as a Junior Engineer at Farstad Shipping ASA and has a foundational background as an Engine Cadet at Hamburg Sud. Education was completed at Gdańsk University of Technology, earning a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
