Maria Shaw

Maria Shaw began their work experience at Deloitte & Touche in 1992, where they served as a Senior Manager until 2005. In 2005, they joined McKesson, where they held several roles including Director of Risk Controls Group, VP of Risk Controls Group, VP of IT Risk Management & Compliance, and VP of North American CISO. Maria transitioned to Varian Medical Systems in 2017 as the VP and Chief Information Security Officer, remaining in that position until 2021 when Varian was acquired by Siemens Healthineers. Maria then became the VP and Principal Cybersecurity Officer - CyberHealth at Siemens Healthineers, a role focused on driving continuous improvement in cybersecurity for the company.

Maria Shaw attended the University of Cambridge from 1989 to 1992, studying Computer Science. In 2021, they obtained the CISSP certification, awarded by (ISC)².
