Priya Balasubramanian

Priya Balasubramanian, Ph.D., is a Senior Applied Physicist at Siemens Healthineers since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Marquette University from August 2016 to August 2022, where projects focused on cortical activation changes in stroke survivors. From August 2014 to May 2016, Priya held the position of Visiting Professor at Grand Valley State University, mentoring and teaching sophomore-level courses in Digital Systems, Micro-controllers, and C programming. Priya also worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Van Andel Institute from January 2013 to August 2014, developing image processing techniques for small animal models. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University, a Master of Science and Engineering from Grand Valley State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
