Thomas Heyligers has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Thomas began their career in 2007 as a Mandatory Service Grundwehrdienstleistender in the Bundeswehr. In 2008, they joined Siemens AG, Mobility Division as an Auszubildender zum Industriekaufmann (IHK), where they gained knowledge in financial analysis, lean reporting, and inventory management as a Controller. Thomas remained at Siemens for 7 years, taking on various roles within the company.

In 2015, Thomas Heyligers transitioned to Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics LLC, where they served as a Commercial Project Manager. Thomas was responsible for the design, build, and financial execution of Baggage Handling Systems for Airports in North America. Thomas provided adhoc analysis to consult the board of directors on multi-perspective effects. Later on, they assumed the role of Head of Transformation Office - Finance, overseeing finance-related transformation projects. In 2022, they became the Head of Finance - Global Project Execution, responsible for leading the finance function in global projects.
