Abishaya Prabaharan

Abishaya Prabaharan, CPA, currently serves as Assistant Controller at The MRG Group since July 2021, having previously held the title of Senior Financial Analyst. Before that, Abishaya worked at PwC from September 2018 to July 2021 as a Senior Associate and Associate. Abishaya's experience includes serving as Treasurer for the UTSG Tamil Students'​ Association and Finance and Sponsorship Orientation Executive at the University of Toronto - University College, overseeing significant budgets and facilitating sponsor relationships for various events. Additionally, Abishaya gained foundational accounting skills as a General Accounting Clerk at Daily Bread Food Bank and held customer service roles including Sales Associate at Forever 21 and Cashier at Freshco. Educational qualifications include a CPA designation from CPA Canada and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Toronto.
