Corey Josenhans

Corey Josenhans has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development, quality systems, and design projects. Currently, they serve as the Director of Research and Development at Sientra, Inc. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Director of Research and Development at the same company. Corey also worked as a Quality Systems & Design Projects professional at Sientra, Inc.

Before joining Sientra, Corey worked at Sienna Biopharmaceuticals as an Associate Director of Product Development, where they were responsible for managing product development operations, staff training, budget planning, and special projects.

Corey also worked as a Design Control Consultant for Amgen at Validant. In this role, they provided guidance and support for drug and device technologies and led design control and manufacturing transfer activities.

Earlier in their career, Corey held various roles at Allergan, including Product Development Manager, Senior Product Development Project Engineer, and Scientist in the GTOps department. They managed multiple devices through the product development process, led cross-functional project teams, and oversaw the transfer of production processes to overseas facilities.

Corey's professional journey started at Inamed and BioEnterics Corporation, where they gained experience in engineering and process engineering roles.

Corey Josenhans completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at UC Santa Barbara from 1993 to 1997. In 2009, Corey obtained the certification of Certified Project Manager from UC Santa Barbara.
