Fred Torres

Fred Torres has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to project management and cloud integration. Fred started their career in 1989 as a Consultant at Reliance Insurance, where they worked on PeopleSoft projects. Fred then joined Partners Healthcare in 1990, where they continued to work on PeopleSoft projects. In 1993, they worked as a Consultant at Andersen Consulting until 1997. In 1999, they joined Quintiles as a PeopleSoft specialist until 2007. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a PeopleSoft Manager at SourceAlliance. In 2000, they joined Partners Healthcare System Inc as a Consultant until 2008. In 2006, they started working at Sierra-Cedar as a Senior Project Manager for the Managed Services Division, and later became the Manager of PMO Technology Projects. Fred also served as a Project Manager for the AWS Cloud Migration project and as a Director of Cloud Integration, responsible for directing DevOps teams and migrating deployments to the SCALR platform.

Fred Torres obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Villanova University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. In terms of additional certifications, Fred has obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level from Kryterion in March 2017 and the PMP - Project Management Professional from PMI in June 2013. Fred also holds the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services, and the Terraform Associate Certification from HashiCorp.
