Thao Xiong

Thao Xiong is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in program coordination, volunteer management, and community outreach. Currently serving as a Program Associate at Sierra Health Foundation since August 2021, Thao effectively executes program strategies and supports day-to-day operations. Prior experience includes a role as an Administrative Associate at Optum, focusing on patient engagement and support during Covid-19 vaccination efforts. Thao has also made significant contributions as a Field Organizer for the Democratic Party and a VIP Fellow with AmeriCorps, enhancing volunteer infrastructure and community engagement. With a Bachelor's Degree in International/Global Studies from American University, Thao has a strong foundation in both academic and practical applications, complemented by various roles in education and community service initiatives.
