Richard S. Kilby

Richard S. Kilby is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in aerospace and automotive industries. Currently serving as Mechanical Engineer IV at Sierra Lobo, Inc., Richard is responsible for the acceptance testing and refurbishment of space shuttle engines for NASA’s Artemis V mission. Prior experience includes a role as Manufacturing Engineer II/Hardware Manager at Boeing, focusing on design input and manufacturing processes, alongside leading the Integral Fuel Cell Team for the KC-46A Military Tanker. Richard's career also includes positions in automotive engineering, where expertise was developed in engine building and custom designs, notably at Wolfprint Racing and Jim Greens Performance Center. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from New Mexico State University.
