Eric Gingrich is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in low SWaP RF technology and superconductivity. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation since August 2020, Eric leads customer programs and manages the Emerging Concepts and Technologies team. Prior to this role, Eric worked at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Scientist in the AC Superconductivity Group from May 2014 to August 2020, where Eric contributed as the JMRAM Technical Lead. Eric's academic background includes a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Michigan State University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Astronomy, and Philosophy from The Ohio State University. During Eric's earlier career, research focused on superconducting/ferromagnetic/superconducting hybrid Josephson junctions, with responsibilities also encompassing undergraduate teaching in physics.
