Donnie Morrison

Donnie Morrison has extensive experience in the field of technology and IT. Donnie started their career in 1989 as a Computer Operator at Boeing Information System. Donnie then served in the US Army as an Artillery member from 1991 to 1995. From 1995 to 2004, Donnie worked at Coastal Computers as the VP of Field Services, providing IT solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. In 2004, they joined Sierra Sands Unified School District as the Director of Technology, overseeing IT procurement and maintenance. Donnie later became the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for district-wide technology services. In 2019, Donnie joined Western Governors University as a Senior Evaluator for the School of IT, where they reviewed student assessment submissions.

Donnie Morrison completed their Master of Business Administration - Information Technology Management degree at Western Governors University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the same institution in 2016. Before attending Western Governors University, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Cerro Coso Community College in 2014. Additionally, Donnie has obtained several certifications including Certified Chief Technology Officer from CITE California IT in Education in December 2021, CompTIA Network+ ce in April 2016, CompTIA A+ ce in January 2016, and CompTIA Security+ ce in January 2016.
