Kristine Dietrich

Kristine Dietrich serves as the Director of Electrical Engineering and Director of Avionics at Sierra Space since January 2022, leading over 25 engineers across multiple teams responsible for critical systems in aerospace engineering. Previously, Kristine was a Principal Systems Engineer and led the Avionics Hardware team for the Dream Chaser Space Plane, managing hardware development and testing. Prior experience includes roles as Systems Engineer II/III at Sierra Nevada Corporation, focusing on Command and Data Handling systems for NASA's Commercial Cargo Resupply program, and significant research positions at various institutions including UC San Diego and the University of Denver. Kristine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Denver.
