Hong-Rong Hsu

Hong-Rong Hsu is a Senior Staff Engineer at SiFive since 2019, leading the AI/ML Frameworks Team and developing an in-house MLIR Software Stack. Previously, Hong-Rong Hsu served as a Staff Engineer at SiFive, focusing on deploying AI/ML end-to-end model inference and implementing RISC-V Vector Libraries. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Bitmain, where responsibilities encompassed compiler development for DNN accelerators and low-precision quantization tools. Hong-Rong Hsu also worked at MediaTek for nearly eight years in various roles, including as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in deep learning accelerator compilers and Android optimization, and as a System Software Engineer developing boot loaders and Linux drivers. Hong-Rong Hsu holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University.
