Noël Barnes

Noël Barnes currently serves as Senior Director and Assistant General Counsel at Commonwealth Financial Network, a position held since September 2021. Additionally, Noël acts as a member of the SIFMA Compliance and Legal Future Leaders Committee since May 2022. Prior roles include Attorney at NW Corporate Law, Director of Regulatory Affairs at M Financial Group, and Associate Counsel at LPL Financial. Noël has also contributed to the LPL Charitable Foundation as a Board Member and gained experience in regulatory administration at J.P. Morgan. Early career roles included work as a paralegal at Brown Brothers Harriman and a student attorney in the Investor Advocacy Clinic at Suffolk Law. Noël holds a JD in Law from Suffolk University Law School and a BS in Finance from Fairfield University, alongside studies at Australian Catholic University.
