Steve Sandven

Steve Sandven has worked in the software engineering field since 1992. Steve began their career at Applied Technology Associates, where they were a Software Engineer responsible for implementing real-time control of a deformable mirror system for correction of atmospheric turbulence on a 3.5 M telescope, as well as laser imaging experiments. In 1999, they moved to FLIR Systems, where they were a Software Engineer. In 2006, they joined iMove as a Software Engineer. Since 2013, they have been a Principal Software Engineer at SightLine Applications, Inc., where they deliver cutting-edge onboard video processing systems.

Steve Sandven received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara in 1988, and their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of New Mexico in 1991.
