Cosme Solis

Cosme Solis has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Cosme most recently worked at Sigma Defense Systems LLC as a System Engineer/Site Lead, where they demonstrated expertise in satellite transmission plans, systems planning, and network routing. Prior to that, they worked at Jacobs as an Enterprise Architect Solutions Specialist and a FAB-T System Analyst, where they gained knowledge in satellite communications and maintenance. Cosme also has extensive experience in the US Army, where they held various leadership roles such as Activities Operations Director and Assistant Program Manager/Assistant Detachment Commander. Their military experience involved managing special activities, coordinating with international partners, and overseeing risk management for personnel. Additionally, they served as a Senior Communications Manager/Communications Sergeant, where they maintained and trained on communication systems and incorporated them into computer networks. Lastly, they worked as a Military Police officer, leading a joint operation and performing law enforcement patrol supervisor duties.

Cosme Solis earned an Associate's degree in General Studies from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2013-2014. In 2019-2020, they completed a Certificate of Completion in Microsoft Software and Systems Academy from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. From 2020 to 2024, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Technical Management from the same university. Additionally, Cosme Solis has obtained various certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA A+ ce Certification, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification, CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS Stackable Certification, Drone Security Operations Certificate (DSOC), CompTIA Network+ ce Certification, CompTIA Security+ ce Certification, and MTA: Networking Fundamentals - Certified 2019.
