Roman Polupanov

Roman Polupanov has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. From 2018 to present, they have been the COO and Co-Founder of SigmaLedger, Inc., a SaaS provider of Blockchain based innovative solutions focusing on Counterfeit Prevention, Supply Chain Transparency and Digital Direct Marketing. From 2007 to 2018, they were employed by EPAM Systems, where they held the roles of Head of Blockchain Competency, Head of Delivery in Switzerland, Delivery Manager, and Offshore Delivery Center Manager. In these roles, they managed a team of 86 people distributed over three countries for a project to renew the FX Post Trade legacy system for a top investment bank, as well as projects for the London Metal Exchange. From 2000 to 2007, they were employed by B2BITS, where they held the roles of Project Manager, Team Lead/Project Manager, and Developer. In these roles, they managed teams of up to 6 people for projects such as MS Internet Explorer Plug-in development for PayCashEuro Online Payment platform, e-Currency Online Exchange Portal, and FIX Engine and FIX Automated Certification and Testing service development.

Roman Polupanov received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems & Networks from Sevastopol State Technical University in 1999. Roman then completed their Master's Degree in Computer Systems and Networks from the same university in 2000.
