Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of European Sales to lead our European market expansion.  Reporting to the Enterprise General Manager, you will spearhead a team of Sales Professionals and Area Sales Managers. Collaborating closely with our Support, Implementation, and Product teams, you will drive overall growth and support for our European market.   This role requires travel within Europe, with a focus on Denmark and the U.K. initially. 

This is a hybrid position based in Europe, with a preference to be in Northampton, UK

Skills:

  • Proven track record of 10+ years in SaaS or IT Solutions sales, with a strong focus on solution sales
  • Minimum of bachelor degree from a university
  • Extensive hands-on experience in direct sales and sales leadership/management roles
  • Role will be a mix of account management expansion and greenfield new account penetration
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs and match the right solutions
  • Strong team and collaboration skills to work in a matrixed environment to achieve objectives
  • Strong in managing the sales process, forecasting, and solutions selling
  • Ability to take on challenges with calm demeanor and making hard/difficult decisions when required
  • Has a strong continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong results-oriented mentality and ownership of numbers
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Highly structured, with excellent planning and prioritization abilities
  • Proactive and initiative-driven, with a ‘can-do’ approach
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in another major European language (French, Spanish, or German) is an advantage
  • Focus on quality, results and delivery
  • Ambitious, energetic, and quality-focused
  • Knowledge of Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft Office 365, and preferably experienced working with cloud technologies
  • Comfortable working with different time zones, including North America

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Leading B2B SaaS solution sales efforts
  • Managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Driving new business sales to predefined customer verticals
  • Handling leads from screening to closing the sale
  • Co-developing business plans with direct managers and the CSO/GM at Sign In Solutions
  • Managing and expanding customer accounts
  • Identifying key strategic go-to-market partners to expand product footprint
  • Driving expansion growth of existing customer base while penetrating new customers and markets in the European footprint
  • Account planning and execution
  • Executing account planning and weekly Salesforce CPM opportunity tracking and ARR forecasting
  • Generating and driving sales leads in your region
  • Following up on marketing initiatives
  • Taking charge on the full sales process from the start
  • Share market knowledge and customer intelligence from your markets with your team
