Marissa Le Coz

Marissa Le Coz has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Marissa is currently working as an iOS Engineer at Signal Messenger since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at NovenaNetwork as an Indie Dev, where they built NovenaNetwork for their senior honors thesis. Marissa taught herself iOS development and Swift during this project. Marissa also worked at Twitter in multiple roles, including Senior Software Engineer in the Home Timeline and Content & Creation teams. Marissa contributed to various features such as Conversation Controls and notifications for retweeted tweets. Marissa also mentored an iOS intern. Marissa served as a Software Engineer in the Media Infra team at Twitter, where they worked on the architecture and implementation of video chrome UI elements and a refactor of the video autoplay system. Marissa was also a Software Engineering Intern at Twitter, working on video captions and contributing to the iOS code base. Before Twitter, Marissa gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Dealer.com, where they improved log querying capabilities and contributed to the transition to a continuous deployment model. Marissa also worked as a Software Development Intern at Notabli and as a Software Developer and Project Manager at DALI Lab. Marissa's early experience includes working as a Recitation Section Leader at Dartmouth College, where they graded assignments and led programming drills for students.

Marissa Le Coz completed their high school education at Essex High School from 2009 to 2013, earning a High School degree. Marissa then pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Dartmouth College from 2013 to 2017. Following that, they went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College from 2017 to 2018.
