Olivia Borel

Olivia Borel is a Systems Software Automation Developer at Signiant, contributing to the development of a high-performance and scalable transfer service since May 2023. Prior experience includes backend development for the Cloud One product at Trend Micro, and improving a system builder using Go at Ford Motor Company while gaining insights into the DevOps field. Olivia also served as Head Teaching Assistant and Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Software Engineering at the University of Ottawa. Earlier roles involved test automation at Field Effect and case processing at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, where new features for existing tools were developed. Olivia holds an Honours BSc in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, completed in December 2022.
