Karsten Vierke

Karsten Vierke has a diverse and extensive work experience. Karsten began their career at Philips Lighting in 2000, where they held various roles including National Key Account Manager Wholesale/Shoplighting and Segment Manager Shoplighting. During this time, they also worked as a Young High Potential Trainee in the field of New Business Organization.

In 2005, Vierke joined Philips Ukraine & Central Asia as a Channel Manager for Consumer Lighting and OEM. Karsten later served as the Commercial Director for the Retail, Healthcare, and Hospitality segments in Germany. Karsten then became the General Manager of Philips Ukraine, Caucasus, and Central Asia, where they demonstrated strong entrepreneurial skills and managed the company during disruptive commercial times.

Vierke returned to Philips Lighting as the Vice President Leader of Professional Lighting DACH in 2015. Karsten also served as the CEO of Philips Lighting DACH and later as the CEO of Signify DACH. As the Global Head of Integrated Communications (ad interim), they were responsible for leading the integrated communications efforts of Signify.

In 2023, Vierke founded their own company, 4KE Karsten Vierke, where they provide life and business guidance. Additionally, they are involved in Parkinson Change, where they support and empowers individuals and their families who are dealing with the challenges of Parkinson's disease.

Throughout their career, Vierke has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the business. Karsten has successfully navigated challenging environments and implemented innovative marketing strategies.

Karsten Vierke has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from The University of Göttingen, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. Karsten also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from The University of Göttingen, which they obtained from 1994 to 2000. Karsten has additional certifications in the Edge III Leadership Program from Signify and Lean Advanced from Stefanie Sperber/Global Leader for Lean Trainings in Signify.
