Olivia Ronghong QIU has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology and innovation industry. Olivia Ronghong started their career as a System Engineer at the Engineering Institute, China in 1988. In 1997, they joined Nokia and held various roles within the company, including Head of Business Group - Alcatel-Lucent Strategic Industries BG and CEO & Board Director of Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell. Olivia Ronghong then joined Philips Lighting in 2013 as the Chief Innovation Officer and later took on the role of Chief Innovation Officer, Market Group Leader - Greater China. In 2016, they became an Independent Board Director and a member of committees at Groupe Renault and Saint-Gobain. Olivia Ronghong also worked at Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) as the Chief Innovation Officer. Throughout their career, Olivia demonstrated their expertise in innovation and leadership, contributing to the success of the companies they worked for.

Olivia Ronghong QIU earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China from 1983 to 1987. From 1993 to 1997, they pursued further education at Ecole Superieure des Affaires de Grenoble, France, where they obtained a Ph.D, Docteur d'Etat in Science de Gestion. In 2011, they attended the Harvard Business School for a 6-month Program for Leadership Development in PLM.
