Maria Lavemäki has an extensive work experience history. Maria started their career as a Department Secretary at the Bank of Finland in 2017. Maria then moved on to work as a Customer Care Coordinator and later as a Project Coordinator at GROHE. In 2019, they worked as an Administrative Assistant in a project at Outotec, where they gained experience in working with an international team. From 2019 to 2021, Maria served as a Head Coach at Espoon Palloseura, a sports organization. Maria then worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at Fujitsu, where they focused on recruitment and employee branding. Maria also worked at Cinia as a Talent Acquisition Specialist before joining Siili Solutions. At Siili Solutions, they initially worked as a Talent Partner, supporting colleagues with various development tasks and projects. Maria expressed their interest in diversity and inclusion and was given the opportunity to work as a Talent Partner and DEI Lead, responsible for developing and implementing the DEI strategy in the company.
Maria Lavemäki (she/her) attended Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2019, where they pursued a degree in Business Studies and Modern Languages for Management Assistants with a focus on HR & Leadership. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, Maria completed their Matriculation Examination at Nolaskolan Gymnasium in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. Additionally, Maria has obtained a certification in Diversity Recruiting from LinkedIn in 2023.
