Derik Viljoen

Derik Viljoen is a seasoned professional in the construction chemicals and concrete engineering industry, currently serving as the Concrete Technical Manager and R&D specialist at Sika since January 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Manager at MBCC Group and BASF Construction Chemicals South Africa, focusing on research, product development, and technical customer support for admixture systems in Southern Africa. Earlier positions encompassed Quality Controller and Trainee Technical Controller at Lafarge Aggregates and Concrete South Africa, as well as a Concrete Technician role contracted to Amec Engineering.
