Alessandro Gallo

Alessandro Gallo is a highly experienced scientist in the field of industrial chemistry, currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Alessandro held positions at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory as an Associate Staff Scientist and Research Associate from April 2015 to May 2023. Alessandro's academic career includes a Postdoctoral Fellow position at UC Santa Barbara's Chemical Engineering Department from April 2012 to April 2015 and a Research Scientist role at CNR - Institute of Molecular Science and Technologies between January 2009 and January 2012. Alessandro earned a PhD in Industrial Chemistry from Università degli Studi di Milano, where a Master's degree in the same field was also obtained.
