Christie Simmons

Christie Simmons is a seasoned professional in the fields of photovoltaic technology and analytics, currently serving as Senior Manager of Integration & Analytics at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. since October 2021. With extensive experience at SunPower Corporation from April 2014 to October 2021, Christie held several key positions, including Senior Engineering Manager focusing on module performance and reliability, Engineering Manager for cell process development, and Principal Engineer overseeing next-generation solar cell technology. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Photovoltaics Research Laboratory, Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Oberlin College. Christie holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.A. in Physics from Oberlin College.
