Annie Tran

Annie Tran has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Annie started their career as a Head Waitress and Website Designer at Fresh Rolls Restaurant from September 2009 to September 2015. Later, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at The Hair Spot from May 2011 to September 2017. In January 2016, they served as a Secretary and Assistant Hygienist at Dr. Stan Park & Dr. Paul Bai’s Dental Clinic, which lasted until August 2016.

Annie then transitioned to BTC Contractors, where they worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO from September 2010 to November 2019. During their tenure at BTC Contractors, they gained experience in providing administrative support and managing various tasks for the CEO.

In December 2019, Annie joined Silfab Solar Inc. as a Finance Assistant to the CFO & Admin Secretary. In this role, they demonstrated strong organizational skills and assisted multiple departments with document retrieval and preparation, filing, and organizing paperwork. Annie also actively contributed to the development and implementation of a Business Continuity Plan. Additionally, they managed the NDA database and confidential/legal documents.

Annie concurrently served as an Accounts Payable Accountant at Silfab Solar Inc. from July 2020 onwards. In this position, they ensured timely and accurate measurement of inputs and outputs by reconciling vendor accounts, posting invoices, and preparing payments. Annie also assisted various departments to achieve reliable and timely AR information for cash flow budgeting.

Throughout their career, Annie has shown adaptability and versatility by successfully working in different industries and roles.

Annie Tran pursued their education from 2015 to 2019 at Ryerson University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom degree in Marketing Management. In addition, they acquired a certification as a Certified Accounts Payable Specialist from the Institute of Financial Operations & Leadership (IFOL) in September 2021.
