Jussi Mäkinen

Jussi Mäkinen is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in systems and project management, primarily within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Silicon Labs, Jussi focuses on defining requirements for future wireless chips in the Internet of Things. Previous roles include Director of Production and Manufacturing at Loupedeck, where Jussi oversaw production timelines, strategic sourcing, and quality assurance, and Project Manager at KaVo Kerr Group, Microsoft, and Nokia, managing various hardware projects and leading teams in optical sensors and other technologies. Jussi's career began at EB, Elektrobit, and Embio Oy, where foundational skills in design and validation were developed. Jussi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
