Kendra Onishi

As Vice President of Development, Kendra helps to implement the foundation’s strategy as a premier philanthropic partner for charitably-minded individuals and corporations. Kendra works with donors, nonprofit organizations and corporations to identify and establish charitable funds in support of their philanthropic goals and values.

Prior to joining SVCF, Kendra served as managing consultant for a nonprofit and education advisory services team at BDO USA, LLP, a global accounting and consulting firm. In this role, her responsibilities included providing consulting services to philanthropic clients, nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions across a diverse range of service offerings. She also worked as a manager and project director for international development and exchange programs in Washington, DC and Santa Barbara.

Kendra lives in San Jose with her husband and Chihuahua. She enjoys traveling, cooking, running and spending time with family and friends.
