Gil Avila

Gil Avila has extensive experience in operations and manufacturing, currently serving as the Vice President of Operations and Manufacturing at Silicon Valley Innovations, Inc., since December 2020. Prior positions include Director of Manufacturing Operations at Hologic, Inc., and Director of Operations and Manufacturing at Focal Therapeutics, Inc., highlighting a strong background in personnel leadership, master scheduling, and continuous improvement. Prior to these roles, Gil Avila worked as an R&D/Manufacturing Engineer Consultant at Venus Hair and an R&D/Manufacturing Engineer/Lab Manager at Novare Surgical Systems. Gil Avila holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from DeVry University, completed in January 2008.
