Jackson Yeo

Jackson Yeo is an accomplished engineering and manufacturing leader with over a decade of experience at Silixa Ltd., where current roles include VP Engineering and Manufacturing and Head of Optoelectronics Products. Yeo has a proven track record in overseeing the development and manufacturing of optical interrogators, acting as the primary liaison between product design and manufacturing teams. Previously, Yeo served as Production Manager, leading the team responsible for the manufacturing of optical interrogators and establishing streamlined processes. Prior experience includes a role as Development Engineer at Sensornet Ltd., where product development and worldwide technical support were key responsibilities, and as a Research Assistant at City University London, focusing on optical sensors for environmental monitoring. Yeo holds a PhD in the Application of FBG-Based Sensors in the Built Environment from City, University of London, an MPhil in Fibre Optic Probe for Hydrocarbon Detection from UMIST, and a first-class BEng in Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester.
