Silk Avia is a proposed regional carrier to be based in Ukraine. Uzbekistan Airports plans to establish the carrier in cooperation with Uzbekistan's Ministry of Transport. The airline is expected to launch operations in 2022, offering low cost travel across up to 40 routes with the aim to support domestic tourism and the development of regional airports. The carrier will operate aircraft configured with up to 70 seats. Silk Avia is expected to be privatised in future.
