JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Designer with a focus on creating exceptional digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have specialized experience in Shopify design and development, with a strong foundation in web design principles and eCommerce best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, UX designers, content producers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and effective Shopify solutions.
• Participate in discovery workshops with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and design assets to effectively communicate project objectives.
• Design and implement responsive Shopify themes and layouts, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across all devices.
• Produce visually appealing and engaging digital content tailored for Shopify platforms.
• Present and defend design decisions based on user-centric design principles and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain client-specific design systems and provide documentation for front end implementation.
• Support marketing and sales departments with design assets and web support as needed.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Shopify design, eCommerce workflows, and web technologies.

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio showcasing Shopify design projects and proficiency in creating engaging user interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, etc. Knowledge of motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail in design execution.
• 1-2 years of experience in Shopify design, interaction design, web design, content production, or related fields.
• Preferred experience working in a digital agency environment.
• Familiarity with design systems and understanding of eCommerce workflows and best practices.
• Knowledge of data-driven design principles, Google Analytics, and onsite optimization strategies is advantageous.
