Giorgi Barbakadze

Giorgi Barbakadze possesses extensive experience in sports journalism and commentary, currently serving as a video analyst for Tbilisi City Hall and a broadcaster for the rugby podcast "Inside Rugby" through Leadersport since January 2021. Previously, Giorgi held sports commentator roles at Silknet since January 2015 and at TV Broadcasting Company GMG from May 2012 to November 2015. Additional experience includes working as a sports journalist for Palitra Media Holding "lelo" and worldsport.ge. Giorgi holds a Master's degree in Building Construction Technology from Georgian Technical University, where academic studies were completed between 2004 and 2010, following earlier education at the same institution from 1993 to 2004.
