Jarkko Vainio

Jarkko Vainio has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jarkko started their career as a Design Engineer at Nokia in 2001 and worked there until 2005. Jarkko then worked as a Software Engineer at Urho Tuominen Oy from 2007 to 2008, followed by a role as a Software Engineer at Uoma Oy from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Avaus as a System Specialist, responsible for implementing Marketing Automation Systems. Jarkko held this role until 2014, after which they became a System Architect at Avaus, specializing in Neolane based marketing systems. Jarkko worked as a System Architect until 2021. In 2021, they worked as a Data Engineer at Cybercom Group from March to October, and then transitioned to the role of Data Engineer at Knowit from October 2021 to December 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Senior AI Engineer at Silo AI starting from January 2023.

Jarkko Vainio obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 2001. Jarkko then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from Tampere University of Technology, graduating in 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Jarkko Vainio has also obtained several certifications in various fields. These certifications include SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals from Microsoft, and OpenHack: Modern Data Warehousing from Microsoft OpenHack. Jarkko holds Adobe Certified Expert certifications in Adobe Campaign Architect and Campaign Developer. Jarkko Vainio has also earned certifications from Google Cloud, including Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Professional Cloud Developer, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer. In addition, they hold certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate. Furthermore, they have obtained the dbt Developer certification from dbt Labs. Jarkko Vainio is also certified by Google as a Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer and Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect. Lastly, they have achieved the Google Analytics certification from Google.
