Katariina Mahkonen

Katariina Mahkonen has worked as an AI Scientist at Silo AI since April 2021. Katariina also holds the position of AI Engineering Consultant and Chief Technology Officer at Ai Performance Oy, starting in April 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior Machine Learning Specialist at Meluta Oy from September 2018 to April 2021. Katariina'searliest work experience was as a Researcher at Tampere University of Technology, where they were employed from 2010 to 2017.

Katariina Mahkonen received their Master of Science (MS) degree in Signal processing and acoustics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. Katariina later went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Audio and image signal processing and machine learning at Tampere University of Technology from 1965 to 2018.
